Alvaro Gago Diaz's CURRICÁN wins Best Director at Curtocircuito International Short Film Festival

Recent LFS graduate Alvaro moved to London in 2009 to further his film education and enrolled in the MA Filmmaking at the London Film School. As part of his course, Alvaro edited the documentary SKIN and the short fiction LIPSTICK – both films screening and winning awards at many film festivals in Europe and South America.

In 2013 he graduated with Distinction from the LFS with  CURRICÁN. As well as working in London as a freelance editor, Alvaro is writing his next short fiction film and teaching film at the Young for Film School.
