LFS Alumnus short WASTEWORLD at San Franscisco Frozen Film Festival

We are delighted to announce that Wasteworld, a short film from LFS Alumnus Andrea Niada, will be screened as part of the 11th San Francisco Frozen Film Festival in July 2016.

The San Francisco Frozen Film Festival was named by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the '20 coolest festivals in the world'.

Previously, the film has been accepted into the 19th Brooklyn Film FestivalThe Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF), is an International, competitive festival. Its mission is to provide a public forum in Brooklyn in order to advance public interest in films and the independent production of films. The festival ran from the 3-12th of June in New York.


Wasteworld is a short psychological horror film involving 3 people and 1500 bin bags. It was shot over a period of four days on a custom-built set made up of more than 1500 bin bags, with all the special effects created in camera, including live projected animation on an eight-foot screen.
