Three films by LFS graduates represent their countries for the 2014 Best Foreign Language Film Oscar Award

 We are proud to announce that three LFS alumni were selected to represent their country for the 2014 Oscar Academy Awards.

FACTORY GIRL

2014 saw a record 83 films submitted worldwide soaring above the previous year's 76 submissions. Of those 83, films by LFS alumni were FACTORY GIRL, directed by Mohamed Khan representing Egypt, THE GOLDEN ERA, directed by Ann Hui representing Hong Kong and CRISTO REY directed by Leticia Tonos representing the Dominican Republic.

These selections are Mohamed Khan's second, Ann Hui's fourth and Leticia Tonos' second time representing their countries.
