London Film School is proud to announce the appointment of producer Sarah Sulick as Course Leader for its new Masters programme in Film Producing, launching in September 2025.
A respected figure in the UK and internationally, Sarah is a dual national (UK/US) who has been based in London for nearly 30 years, with over two decades of producing experience. She is the founder of Bright Pictures and her most recent film, The Trouble with Jessica (2023) starring Shirley Henderson, Rufus Sewell and Olivia Williams, won the Audience Award and Jury Prize upon its premiere as opening night film at Dinard, later garnering a BAFTA Scotland nomination for Henderson’s performance. The film is now available on Netflix UK and has recently been released in US cinemas.
Prior to setting up Bright Pictures, Sarah worked in acquisitions and development on films such as The Mother (Roger Michell) and Dear Frankie (Shona Auerbach). Her other positions include developing and executive producing film and television projects for the legendary theatre impresario, Bill Kenwright. Sarah also taught on the MA programme in Screenwriting and Producing for Film & TV at the University of Westminster and created a bespoke mentoring & training scheme for 30 young people from minority ethnic and NEET backgrounds during the shoot of Bright Pictures’ film Honeytrap.

The new MA in Film Producing has been designed to respond directly to the evolving needs of the global screen industries. Applications for the inaugural intake of the MA in Film Producing are now open, with the first cohort starting in September 2025.
