We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Divine Intervention’s Co-Creator and Director, Ravenna Tran (MA Filmmaking), and Writer, Rebecca Ozer (MA Screenwriting), where we discussed their journey from the initial partnership to completing the incredibly successful film. Divine Intervention was nominated for Best British Short at the 2024 Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival. It was subsequently broadcast on Film4 and is available to stream on Channel 4 for a year following the festival. Get watching!

Thanks to everyone who is taking part in the London Film School Graduate Showcase 2025. The event includes screening 59 films, showcasing the work of 35 scripts and hearing 24 pitches and presentations. The event took place at the BFI Southbank, and online for two weeks.

London Film School (LFS), a globally renowned institution for filmmaking excellence, is proud to announce the launch of two new Master’s programmes: MA Film Marketing and MA Film Producing. These courses, designed to shape the next generation of film industry leaders, will commence in September 2025. Applications open from 20 January 2025.

Recently, we had the pleasure of speaking with Philip Sindall, a Regular Visiting Lecturer who teaches cinematography on our MA Filmmaking programme. With 45 years of experience in the camera department, Philip has worked as a camera operator on beloved films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Mamma Mia! (2008), Elizabeth (1998), Shakespeare in Love (1998), Inkheart (2008), and Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007), to name a few.
