Marek Budzynski

Marek is an award-winning filmmaker and educator and has worked in all areas of the industry. Starting his career at the London Filmmakers Co-op in 1979 he then went on to graduate from the Royal College of Art in 1983. Since then, he has worked on; music films, commercials, shorts, features and documentaries around the world. He started teaching at Bournemouth Film School in 2010 and has taught in the UK and Europe since. 

 

Roberto Oggiano

Roberto is also a film critic and film programmer. He holds a MA in Film Programming and Curation at Birkbeck College and his collaborations include Cineuropa (EN, FR, ITA, SP), Scenari (IT) and journal Cinelapsus (IT), Cinè-Lumière at the French Institute in London and Noods Radio (Bristol, UK).

 

James Wright

James is a Northern Irish sound-maker and educator who works across the realms of post-production, sound art and music production. His work focuses on the sculptural and spatial qualities of audio, with a particular interest in the crossover between music and sound.

He is currently working at LFS as a Post-Production Advisor and a Sessional Lecturer teaching sound editing and foley recording in Avid Pro Tools.

Mark Prescott

Mark has had a long career in the creative industries which has included setting up a film skills business for the BFI and working on the BFI player. He has worked in the Mayor of London's office and set up a new digital business for Penguin Random House, the world's biggest publisher. In his spare time he can be found playing and conducting music.

Steve Gray

Steve Gray is a very experienced Lighting Cameraman/Camera Operator and working DOP. He studied at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield after doing a degree in photography at Napier University in his native Scotland. He has shot dramas/documentaries/commercials and pop videos, on all formats. He has been nominated for an Emmy twice. Steve has worked in over 120 countries, from filming documentaries in the wilds of Antarctica to being a camera operator on Kate Winslet’s latest HBO drama series, The Regime.

Mark Barrs

Mark Barrs is a freelance Lighting Cameraman/Operator and working DOP, started in the camera department and worked up through the various grades in television and the film industry based mainly in the UK. His work has taken him all around the world. He has experience in most types of climate and working conditions, from the North Pole, Antarctica, African desert to rainforest, and has experiences in just about all the filming formats, old and new school and the stuff in-between.
