London Film School announces year-long digital archive release to mark 70th anniversary
London Film School (LFS) today announces a year-long YouTube archive series to mark its 70th anniversary in 2026, celebrating seven decades of filmmaking talent by releasing a curated selection of its archival films on YouTube throughout the year.
2026 LFS GRADUATE SHOWCASE BOOK
Thanks to everyone who took part in the London Film School Graduate Showcase 2026. The event includes screening 56 films, showcasing the work of 39 scripts and hearing 40 pitches and presentations. The event took place at the BFI Southbank.

London Film School (LFS) is proud to announce a significant presence at the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), with student and alumni work represented across film selection, industry talent programmes, and special anniversary screenings.
London Film School featured as Guest Academy at Sarajevo Film Festival 2018
Three London Film School (LFS) students, along with tutor Richard Kwietniowski, represented London Film School with a showcase of their graduation films at the Sarajevo Film Festival this August.
Lucca Nappa wins at Rhode Island IFF with Grad Film ‘Warriors of Sanità’
After winning the Special Award – Rai cinema Channel Giffoni at the Giffoni Film Festival 2018, Luca Nappa’s grad film ‘Warriors of Sanità’ wins the Grand Prize: Voyages of Discovery at Flickers, the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2018.

Netflix Cricket and Corruption Drama: Selection Day by Director & LFS Workshops tutor Udayan Prasad
We're excited to hear about Udayan Prasad's latest project: Prasad is the director and executive producer on 'Selection Day', the second of Netflix's India Original Series. Set in present-day Mumbai, the series is based on the novel of the same name by Man Booker Prize-winning author Aravind Adiga.
'Selection Day' is being produced by Anand Tucker and Sharon Maguire's company Seven Stories and Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network Pvt Ltd.

Graduate film 'Sol de Agosto', by Franco Volpi, in finals of 2018 Student Academy Awards
Congratulations to Franco Volpi and crew on making it into the finals of the 2018 Student Academy Awards with his grad film 'Sol de Agosto'!!
The 2018 Student Academy Awards received 1,582 films this year, 'Sol de Agosto' is one of 39 films to advance and one of seven in the International Narrative category. The grad film is making its rounds on the film festival circuit.
In Honour of LFS Honorary Associate, Colin Tucker
LFS announces Honorary Associate and ex-tutor Colin Tucker has passed away on 6 August 2018.
Gisli Snaer, Director of LFS: “On behalf of all of us here at LFS, it is with great sadness that I deliver today the heart-breaking news of the death of a colleague and friend, Colin Tucker. Colin made many great contributions to the School and his work will not soon be forgotten. He will be very missed.”
