London Film School announces year-long digital archive release to mark 70th anniversary
London Film School (LFS) today announces a year-long YouTube archive series to mark its 70th anniversary in 2026, celebrating seven decades of filmmaking talent by releasing a curated selection of its archival films on YouTube throughout the year.
2026 LFS GRADUATE SHOWCASE BOOK
Thanks to everyone who took part in the London Film School Graduate Showcase 2026. The event includes screening 56 films, showcasing the work of 39 scripts and hearing 40 pitches and presentations. The event took place at the BFI Southbank.

London Film School (LFS) is proud to announce a significant presence at the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), with student and alumni work represented across film selection, industry talent programmes, and special anniversary screenings.
LFS Alumna Fateme Ahmadi's 'Bitter Sea' commissioned by London Calling
Many congratulations to graduate Fateme Ahmadi, cast and crew on ‘Bitter Sea’, a commissioned short as part of the London Calling Scheme.
‘Bitter Sea’ is a short film by writer-director Fateme Ahmadi (Berlinale Talent 2017) and produced by Emma Parsons (Touching The Void, Captive), starring ADA Condeescu (‘If I Want to Whistle’, ‘I Whistle’, ‘Loverboy’).

The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) is paying tribute to its Atlantic founder, Rex Tasker, who died on July 24 at his home in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia.
LFS Showcase at Sarajevo Film Festival
Three London Film School students, along with tutor Richard Kwietniowski, are set to represent London Film School with a showcase of their graduation films at the Sarajevo Film Festival this August.
Koby Adom Wins London Calling Plus and John Brabourne Award
Koby Adom, who was born on the Ivory Coast and grew up in London, graduated from London Film School in 2016 with the critically acclaimed ‘House Girl’, set in Accra, Ghana, where his family comes from. When we last spoke to Koby at the end of 2017, he had just been selected for funding by Film London’s highly competitive London Calling Plus scheme to make his next short, ‘Haircut’. Now he’s floating on air after winning the London Calling Plus Award, selected by legendary Director of the final four ‘Harry Potter’ films and ‘Fantastic Beasts’, David Yates.
