London Film School announces year-long digital archive release to mark 70th anniversary
London Film School (LFS) today announces a year-long YouTube archive series to mark its 70th anniversary in 2026, celebrating seven decades of filmmaking talent by releasing a curated selection of its archival films on YouTube throughout the year.
2026 LFS GRADUATE SHOWCASE BOOK
Thanks to everyone who took part in the London Film School Graduate Showcase 2026. The event includes screening 56 films, showcasing the work of 39 scripts and hearing 40 pitches and presentations. The event took place at the BFI Southbank.

New Senior Appointment at London Film School: Head of Studies, Femi Kolade

This latest appointment at the School brings together a wealth of filmmaking expertise and academic talent, offering opportunities to develop the School as a beacon of excellence, innovation and inclusion in filmmaking education.
DIVERSE LFS FILMS AT BFI'S 2018 LFF
London Film Festival already in its second week has garnered praise for successfully managing to achieve gender parity. An astonishing 60% of its programmed feature films were made by or in conjunction with women, whilst across all categories 30% of films were made by women.
LFS Grad, Koby Adom, selected for Screen Star of Tomorrow 2018
Many congratulations to our very talented and recent MA Filmmaking graduate, Koby Adom. Adom has been selected for Screen Start of Tomorrow 2018 and is LFS’ third graduate to be included in this prestigious selection.
He graduated in 2016 from London Film School with his short HOUSE GIRL, travelling to Ghana with the crew to create the film. The short screened at Montréal World Film Festival, London Short Film Festival, Africa International Film Festival and Ann Arbor.
London Film School Appoints COO, Dan Lawson

London Film School Appoints COO, Dan Lawson. LFS expands Executive Team, appoints Dan Lawson to a new senior leadership role.
London Film School (LFS) has appointed Dan Lawson as Chief Operating Officer. The COO is a new role and member of LFS’ executive team, created in response to the growth and future plans of the School. Lawson’s appointment rounds out the executive team following the appointment of Gisli Snaer as Director in June 2018, coming after Greg Dyke’s appointment as Chairman in April 2018.
Dhruv Tripathi’s Grad Film at Moscow’s International Short FF
Good luck to Dhruv Tripathi and crew for the grad film '10x10ft'! The short has won Best Screenplay at the Moscow Shorts International Short Film Festival and will compete at the Moscow Shorts’ Annual Gala, held in Moscow, 2019.
Dhruv: “We want to thank everyone who helped and supported us in making this film. Hopefully, there's a lot more to come!”
