LFS CONNECTS: Watch Iain Smith, OBE in Conversation

LFS CONNECTS is a series of industry and alumni focused events, connecting London Film School to the surrounding filmmaking community, showcasing programmes and opportunities in London and beyond, and celebrating our extensive alumni achievements. With varying events and discussions happening throughout the term, LFS Connects provides a well-rounded film education.

Past visitors have included alumnus Olivier Kaempfer (producer The Miseducation of Cameron Post), alumnus Gonzalo Maza (writer A Fantastic Woman), honorary associate Elizabeth Karlsen (producer Carol), Walter Murch (editor The Godfather), Orlando von Einseidel (director Virunga), and more.

In February 2019, London Film School was thrilled to welcome award-winning producer and alumnus Iain Smith (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Fountain, Children of Men) to the stage for a candid discussion of his impressive production career spanning over forty years. In conversation with LFS Director Gisli Snaer, Iain shared his insight, tips and tricks with a packed audience of LFS students and alumni.
