Application Deadlines

26 Feb - MA Filmmaking deadline
Come and study all craft areas, in a working studio, with students from 30 countries, on our intensive two year post graduate programme. More info.
Don't miss the application date of 26th Feb. This is the final deadline for UK qualifying applicants, who wish to apply for one of our Creative Skillset bursaries, available for entry in April 2014. Bursaries offer up to 80% reduction in fees. More info.
It is also the deadline for applicants outside the UK/EU for April entry, to allow time for visa processing.

LFS Director 
The LFS Board is looking  to appoint a new Director, in succession to Ben Gibson.

28 Feb - Application deadline
LFS Summer School - August 2014
Director Udayan Prasad returns with his hugely popular Directing Summer School, introducing the fundamentals of filmmaking from script to screen. A highly practical programme aimed at anyone who is serious about a career in film, including those interested in applying to film school. More info.
10 March - Deadline for scholarships
Serial Eyes   
SERIAL EYES - EXPERIENCING THE WRITERS' ROOM is a unique postgraduate 9-month course for writing and producing TV series formats, presented by dffb in collaboration with LFS. More info here.
We are also accepting applications for September entry for MA FilmmakingMA Screenwriting and MA International Film Business (joint programme with University of Exeter).

The Full Monty Reunion 
Join us to celebrate the extraordinary success of THE FULL MONTY, the little British film that went on to secure over thirty awards. Screening followed by Q&A with Simon Beaufoy (writer), Uberto Pasolini (producer), Peter Cattaneo (director), John de Boorman (cinematographer), Susie Figgis (casting director), Jill Taylor (costume designer) and cast members Emily Woof and Hugo Speer .

LFS MA Filmmaking graduate Ali Jaberansari presents his first feature FALLING LEAVES, which premiered at the Montreal Film Festival. Request a FREE place here.
