Sophia Wellington

Sophia Wellington began her film career on the floor – literally: placing marks for Richard Gere as a camera assistant.  After years in the camera department, working on a number of Anglo-American features, Sophia moved into the cutting room where she is, to her knowledge, the only (living) assistant editor to get an apology out of Harvey Weinstein.

Louisa Dent

Louisa Dent joined Artificial Eye as Managing Director in 2008. The company has been renamed Curzon Film World to encompass distribution, financing and production with 3 distinct labels; Curzon Films, Artificial Eye and Chelsea Films releasing approximately 20 films a year (past releases include Fish Tank, The Class, The White Ribbon, We Need to Talk About Kevin and Amour).

Hilary Davis

Hilary Davis is Co-Managing Director of Bankside Films, an international sales, production and financing company founded in January 2007.

A modern languages graduate fluent in French and Italian, Hilary started her career at Warner Bros and subsequently worked at HandMade Films, Alibi Communications plc and Beyond Films prior to setting up Bankside Films.

Terry Ilott

Terry Ilott is the principal of Bridge Media, former editor of Screen International, Screen Finance and Variety, ex-CEO of Hammer Films, ex-director of the Film Business Academy and co-author of My Indecision is Final.

Peter Watson

Peter Watson is CEO of Recorded Picture Company. Joining RPC in the early 1990s, Watson began a long and fruitful partnership with legendary producer Jeremy Thomas. Setting out to build a vertically integrated production and distribution business, Watson co-founded the respected sales agency HanWay Films in 1999, and remains its deputy chairman. Continuing RPC’s legacy as a director-led production company, he has focused the sales and distribution business to achieve its standing in the market as a home for quality cinema.

Keith Northrop

Keith Northrop is a lawyer who has specialised in film and television production and financing since the early 1990s. He is a consultant with the City firm Goodman Derrick LLP where he heads their Film Group and where his clients include producers, financiers, distributors and directors. Keith has also acted as executive producer on a number of films including David Keating’s The Last of the High Kings and Dave Stewart’s Honest.
